....so I get this nice post card from Sprint. Because I'm "Special" I can sign up for unlimited text messages for the (2) lines I have on my account for only $20.00 per month.............and this is how I learn that they have jacked up the per use fee for text messaging to 20 cents...from 15 cents...from 10 cents....from free.
I have been with Sprint for 4 years now average monthly bill is $295.00. I don't think Sprint likes me as a customer.
What a deal, probably have to renew contract for another 2 years to boot.
Actually, according to SprintNextel, no further plan changes (be they changes to increase/decrease minutes, services, etc) will cause any further extensions in your contract. The only way to extend a contract is if you opt to buy a new phone from Sprint at their subsidized costs. And even then, now that they've been sued, they will allocate the early termination fee accordingly so that if you choose to leave near the end of your contract, you won't have to pay the full ETF.
So, it isn't all bad.
However, the fact that Sprint isn't offering you a discount on the text messaging is pathetic.
