More often than not, when a company says its not interested in a certain company, thats the one they want! They're not stupid enough to devulge their preferance and have the share price skyrocket. Erickson already manages S and they're German.
"* Possible partners include MetroPCS, Clearwire, AT&T-report"
OK, so lets see here: AT&T is a regulatory nonstarter. Can someone explain how MetroPCS will create the synnergy TMO/DT will need to raise their game to the xtent they need to raise their game. Basically that leaves CLWR and this one kind of hurts my head. I can see that CLWR revs would jump with the TMO traffic while at the sametime competing with S & Comcast & TW who have paid billions to date for the CLWR network.
For me it's just another cry for help by DT and their hopes for finding a state of the art network on the cheap and their effort to catch up with a train that has all ready left the station. Additionally, it is clear validation that S has invested heavily for the last several years in the technology of the future and it is becoming more apparent by the day that Sprint's 4G investment is the technology of NOW. If I am S I would not allow a competing network onto the CLWR network unless it was a very very very sweet deal.
The public lamenting by DT is as difficult to observe as watching a grown man cry.
