Market Cap of S is only 7.8 billion...

I strongly agree with you.....the iphone and the new network will turn sprint around.

possibility of being acquired by apple, google or vorizon is getting better. and anyway once it becomes profitable it will be well over $12.00.

    • Apple doesn't need a cell phone company. They make and sell the cell phones, why take on the added cost of a large network.

Google makes money off of users from ATT and Verizon.

The buzz suggests the Mountain View, Calif. search engine has begun to share revenue with carriers that sell handsets running the Android operating system, according to multiple sources familiar with the deals. Uncited sources suggest that revenue-sharing agreement only occurs when Google applications accompany handsets, such as Search, Google Maps and Gmail.

Google already shares revenue with mobile partners from paid-search ads, confirms a Google spokesperson. "We share revenue on search, not on mobile applications," he says. "The same is true for non-Android devices that use Google as the default search engine."

So why would google lose out on easy money when their competitors would change search providers....

      • Apple is about delivering customer experience, showing what can be done with an integrated solution.

It's done it with hardware and software integration.

If Apple were Microsoft you might ask a similar question, why sell the hardware, just sell the software. (Eventhough Microsoft tries to sell some other hardware like accessories, game ecosystem, etc.)

But Apple is Apple, if Steve Jobs were around, it would not surprise me if Apple bought Sprint and complete the last mile, so to speak.
