Sprint is distributing Iphones only where they have good 3G coverage. Other areas are being delayed or told that only the most expensive phones are available. You won't be seeing big Iphone numbers out of Sprint for awhile.

And possibly, Sprint may get back to expanding it's 3G in the area. There's a new tower that has just gone up half a mile from me. But Sprint must not be on it yet as it would fill the gap and finish covering the town well. Verizon coverage is awesome in the area and Sprint does use it to roam. It's just a matter of how much data is too much data for a Sprint customer while roaming. I'm sure they will get it covered eventually.

Makes sense. It's entertaining to see the salesperson squirm when I ask what kind of service will Verizon give Sprint customers while roaming. I'd be roaming all the time from my house, but not half a mile in either direction. They can't answer the question.
