I think many of us have considered that thought. It's conceiveable sure. But, I'm seeing too often everyone finding a reason why Sprint is going to go up. Maybe Sprint is just a big scam these days. The insiders, if you talked to them, might tell you that really, they doubt they can do well under the current circumstances and that T-Mobile's CEO finds Dan Hesse insufferable as a person.
At some point, a person has to decide that something is realistic thinking based on a continued flow of facts and not just a big waste of time in terms of investing for your future.
I am on board with the Sprint idea for now. I'm suddenly thinking I'm overexposed given what's going on at the moment. I'm waiting a little longer here to see if this can pan out... but today's performance shows that there's a lot riding on stupid ideas like how unlimited is such a great idea that Sprint will run with over the next few years. Obviously, if they have to depend on that alone and cannot back it up well enough by having cheap spectrum and improved technology for spreading their signal and going beyond what the others are doing to cut costs, then this will go nowhere. We can see how quickly the industry gets further commoditized with news like today and yesterday.
I think people should remain skeptical... this is a company that could have a lot of bad things crop up suddenly.
I hardly think their unlimited plan is what they are relying on! I think Dish, Sprint and CLWR is collaborating, as we speak, for streaming movies. CLWR even said they are in the works of a strategic transaction, that was not a wholesale deal. Dish needs both to pull it off. Think ahead.
