another question would be is the market smart or the retail investor?
Never ever bet against the market...........................
This really makes me laugh AND #$%$ me off. "Never bet against the market?" REALLY??? It's a simple second to name THOUSANDS of scenarios where the market was wrong. IS wrong. WILL BE wrong.
Because most people think short term and they are stupid.
Why would someone sell S or short it considering with this deal the bankrupcy for both Clearwire and S is out of the picture and S is going t become a 20 dollar stock in couple of years.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
1. First of all Sprint at $20 in a few years is a $90B Market cap stock, 9 times it's value from July.when news of Softbank started leaking..That puts in with Verizon and that is frankly stupid..
Sprint is overvalued now...Softbank brings nothing but cash..There is no fix to profitibility because they have cash now. They will continue to lose money and spiral toward bankruptcy...Bankruptcy is NEVER off the table EVER for any company..Oh by the way, CLWR is close to BK, closer than ever...
not a wonderful deal but not terrible, S gets the cash needed to go forward and challenge T and VZ, without the cash they were screwed
Good long term buy and when all the day traders have left the stock will continue moving up
It's a terrible deal and its the equivalent to Ben Bernanke printing U.S. Dollars. Son and Hesse are printing up and diluting Sprint shares but, some of the posters here also believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Dan Hesse is a sellout and an enemy of Clearwire's board.
It is an disaster. You will get $7 for 55 percent of your shares but you are stuck with 45 percent of the shares which will drop in price very fast due to Son is printing MORE sprint shares to cover the money he is putting into the company. The net of the net is Sprint shares will crash
the day after the deal. This puts Sprint share holder is lose lose situation.
Cash offer is $7.30 real money for up to 55% of anyones holdings.
Anyone can sell 1/2 of their position for a nice profit even if they get it now, got that ?
If cost bases are much lower then even better....
Sentiment: Strong Buy
