Sprint looks like a long-term buy based on execution using the combined resources despite competitive challenges. However, in the short term, S looks like highly vulnerable to a pull back from the $7.00 level imo.
Reasons for the conjecture:
Its a bit difficult to forecast a price because S now has a greatly reduced public float. The stock trades within the context of having traded for decades with wide distribution... lots of funds, retirees, and other investors have held Sprint stock and it has traded at high volume. Today's volume is about 220 million shares, average volume over 75 million. That creates a large potential pool of interest for buying the stock.
There is a large volume of open calls at 7 at various expiration dates.
Stocks of merged companies tend to move down during the first few months to couple of years following. Some never move back up. About 60% of large mergers are net negative financial transactions... the stock never fully recovers or takes several years to do so.
Recommendation: Take profits, sell covered calls, or buy puts. If strictly a long term investor, hold. Wait to buy on pull back or a move solidly through 7.
Sweetie don't waist your time with these self proclaimed prophets. If it wasn't for Son buying shares S would be hovering low to mid 5's. I personally find your post above and beyond in substance and quality. You are better than that don't play their game. Just a bunch of males hitting their chest, proclaiming them selves KINGS of the board and flexing their verbal MANHOOD "looks pretty TINY from my perspective". Lets see what happens when Son pulls the plug on Softbank's QE. What will happen to the share price? Will the shorts come back with vengeance?
Teamgas, please come back in six months. Apparently, you are THE expert on different ways to eat your own words. We are all keen to see how you change your story as the stock continues to rise.
Go fart in your own mouth lamo.
Read my posts over the past several week, months. What you don't know is dangerous lamebrain nimbie idiot. Your feeble post is only worth commenting on to point out how stupid, lame, lacking of intelligent thought a post can be. Go fir it lamo!
