really think selling your shares will actually make a difference.If it was meant to be cathartic and you did it to make a statement and out of frustration fine, but if you bought S because you felt the company fundamentals were sound and that you would reap some stock appreciation you hurt yourself; it didn't punish S because when you sold your stock someone else bought those shares. Sorry if this sounds like a lecture it was not intended, just my observation. Good luck
No, I don't think selling my shares will make a difference but, they made me really really mad. It did make me feel better to sell them. I bought K-Mart yesterday instead.I prefer shopping at the bare bones discounters anyway. Most of the time I don't really like a sales person hovering over me and at least KM and Walmart don't pretend to be service oriented. Walmart is my favorite of the three but the stock is high. KM and Sears are both undervalued so far as the stock goes but KM is probably even more undervalued than Sears. So far so good. KM is up today and S is down.
