And buy USEG common stock with his own money ??? The odds are slim & none . If he did, it would signal to me that the Board might really be trying to take control of management. And I do think they may be trying.
Given the value of the assets , it would be wonderful if a management team would focus on making everyone money - not just one extended family . Which is the current situation.
Bonus objectives: for the past 5 years, management gets a 20 % of base salary bonus for achieving a less than 1% return on assets - & have never collected . The bonus is generally set on 5 different , but similar goals. So in the last 5 years, management has had 25 discrete goals . They may have achieved 4 or 5 - that is their own report card to the Board - less than 20 % successful in fulfilling the Board of Directors and management set objectives. Why does the Board keep such substandard management ????
