Question about BOPD or BOE projections for SSN ...
You can't be serious.
Surely there is some projection. I viewed the presentation last night but didn't see any real clarity on that.
I mean is 2,000-3,000 BOPD by Q4/2012 realistic?
I've seen where a Motley Fool article drew a comparison with KOG, but I'm not sure that's fair, quite honestly. I don't know that SSN has that kind of upside and can be a 15,000 BOPD company even two years from now, though I'm just speculating, given the production levels in 2011 and what would have to transpire between Q2/2012 and then within two more years.
harold the value of this stock is not on what it produces now but in what happens with the wells it is now in the process of drilling.
In 3 months you will have the answer to your question is my guess.
KOG has been a great co. because of their lease and the drill bit success and to prove both those they had to hit oil in their wells which is exactly what ssn must do. So far they failed to do that to a degree that impressess any on this list, however the "hope" is that the two wells they are now drilling will start a KOG like process.
Why would someone be on a list to warn you off the stock? Nice guy? burned investor so far? Shorter? I will not pump this stock but my money still rides on it and I has so far lost money on the stock but I have not give up as the bet was the future and so far it remains in the future. Defender was a "test" well that so far has produced failure in my eyes however if the co like KOG starts to hit good wells even the area of lease which defender sits on may prove to be better than it now looks. It takes money to fully take a look at a lease site and SSN right now is spending its money on sites they hope start off better than Defender did. If they all turn out to be Defender type wells then I lose more money as does all betting on SSN. It is a gamble with a 2 or 3 month window to see if you win or lose. You could lose at most 2 bucks and win a lot more that alone makes it still interesting to me. Dice are in your hands but it is a gamble where KOG is more a "safe" bet. SSN could double by year end and KOG just can't do that.

I've been reading these types of statements for two years. BULL!
This managing director never admits to failure. He just changes the subject and moves the carrot. Amazingly, people like you buy it. How do you reconcile the original IPs of wells with current production of the SAME wells? There's something terribly wrong.
Notice how SOA just sorta faded away and SOAII is now being touted? You are not getting the whole story, but yet so many believe, believe and dream.
The cash on hand is dwindling. Get ready to get popped. You're not gonna like it.
good post, probably the best I've read on this board, objective and honest, GL to ssn holders, i gave up on them months ago, just too many other places to make money but I will keep them on my watch list
