Samson has an interest in 3,303 acres adjacent to the North Stockyard Oil Field, which is located in the Williston Basin in North Dakota. Productive reservoirs at North Stockyard include the Mississippian Mission Canyon (Bluell), Mississippian-Devonian Bakken, and Devonian Three Forks Formations. So three major formations times 3,303 acres now in the process of drilling 14 pad wells in the three forks and Bakken leaving one formation open for the future. They have 7 producing over 1 million BOE to date. These appoved well sites will triple the numbers.
