my personal blind taste test results:I chose N.P. but redhook's product is good & tasty.not sure if it will catch on with minimal P.R. and production.we'll see.
What was the date on the noble pils.
as a HOOK shareholder I want rope swing to be a smashing success.it is very good.crisp euro pils flavor.I'm far from a beer geek,N.P. had just a little cleaner pils taste.cheers.
When did you conduct the tasting comparison?
As a HOOK and SAM shareholder, I hope they both sell a ton and make us all rich! And let's cut down on all the back and forth b.S.
Funny. Once again. No facts to back up baseless claim. Check for yourself.

Just the facts techno. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/samuel-adams-noble-pils/107598/
Sam's Noble Pils rates a 98 in its category.
Check out the ratebeer website. Who cares about a tasting in Montana?

Rope Swing rates less than a 50 in it's category.
cb, the Redhook product, which I haven't tried, gets very average ratings. The Noble Pils ratings are off the chart for a lighter style beer. It's a grand slam and Rope Swing is a non-event, unfortunately like most of the Redhook offerings. SAM has a gold mine on their hands and management knows it. This is certainly one of the reasons for the increase in the stock buyback last quarter. They just don't have the brewing capacity today to promote it right and keep up with production as a year round product. This isn't a bad situation for a company to be in.
