INBEV cares about them self and their shareholders, not so much the HOOK holders. This explains why HOOK never seems to make much on an ongoing basis. As a side note SAM is hammering BMC in the East, it's everywhere. In the North End I just saw a small grocery that had the entire front window blocked by a stack of only Sam Oktoberfest. Not exactly what the big boys like to see.
Why won't it be a problem? The stock is still very risky and probably priced a bit high based on the PPE. You have to remember the Goose sale overly inflated earnings and the company has demonstrated little ability to make money on an ongoing basis. It remains to be seen, wether Sam Adams sales and earnings have permently peaked. I've noticed that Sam Adams precence here in the Pacific Northwest is fading fast and is non existant now in central Oregon. This very bad since craft beer sales exceed regular beer sales according to CB
