    BREW Availability

Anyone notice a significant increase in BREW product availability. In NJ/NY area noticing more Kona and Widmer products.

Also noticing a lot more Goose Island this year which should be good for NH utilization (at least brands contract brewed by BREW)

Anyone know if AB promoting (or discounting) the brands much more than Goose Island did historically to generate growth?

    • Definately seeing growth of KONA in New Jersey. I noted that Jersey shore bars have started offering it with summer starting. It's good to see Widmer started offering brands other than Hef in NYC. However, they don't appear to offer anything other than Hef in Central or Southern Jersey. That's a shame as I'm sure many would go for a Citra Summer or three after coming off the beach. Where exactly are you seeing this "significant" growth

    • INBEV is making a huge push on Goose geographically. They are trying to make it a national player, though they are being careful about geographic expansion. The expand to the next state tactic seems to be in play, with existing markets getting big promotional money. Floor stacks and marquee ads are becoming common for Goose. INBEV is being smart about not being overly aggressive in markets that aren't familiar with the brand. They only get one shot to be the "new" hot brand, with an easy first drop for trial. For LT success, it's all about the repeat business, anything can sell once in new to a market.
