    • Ref to GM only; With the exception of the Corvette and Hummer brands most of GM's products slip into anonymity and are rubbish.

They deserve what they have been getting for thirty years now...Namely declining market share.

If no SMART person can come forward and lend GM money to get them out of the hole why should the GOVERNMENT lend the money? What is going to change? Has the leopard changed its spots? Has GM's products all of a sudden become better built and more desirable?
Has managements changed their DMV attitude to business?

I think you will find the answer is NO. I think the best thing that could happen to GM is that it could go BK. Maybe only then will it work out its place in the world and focus on it.

      • Hey Dazz,

I'm listening to the Outfield right now.

Is that Ausssie band still around? They had some good tunes.

      • I would have to say that you have forgotten the Saturn line which is a great line of medium-priced vehicles with excellent quality and value for the dollar. The wife has a Saturn VUE SUV that she loves and has been trouble free since bought new two years ago. I drive the 96 SL 4 door that gets 35 mpg highway and she still purrs along with 136,000 miles on her. The sports car SKY that they make is bound to become very collectible if Saturn disappears. Its a sexy sports car that looks better than the Vettes made these days. I don't like bailing out Wall St. nor anyone else, but then again I'm not too fond of anarchy either.

    • 90% out! This is the time to be 125% in! Dumb asses never cease to amaze me.

    • I'm seeing this another way. I in fact have started to take cash positions. However, not out of fear, but rather to take advantage of the dips.

Major news announced: Bad, so stock market drops

However, look at the market recovery after the job's numbers. There is buying strength now and major movers are buying huge amounts of everything now.

My action: Buy in on these %10 dips, sell out end of the day. Sit and wait for another fat pitch. This will happen over and over again. Massive volatility.

    • bad idea coin, darkest before the dawn

    • My problem is that corona also goes great with corona. The more i drink the more i drink.
So i may talk smak here, but i only pound a few brews per year out in the real world.

    • Some little known Kraft products are Milka chocolate and LU cookies.

Grab a box of the dark chocolate LU Petit Ecoliers and wash them down with some Maxwell House. Mix and match with Poptarts from K.

If you wanna go healthy, Kellogg makes GoLean Crunch. Not very flavorful, however.

    • Whew, that'll take a lot of cheese based on my piker status, but if it benefits BRK things may go more quickly.

    • My family are great KFT and K customers.

Cereal for dinner, if it helps StratCat retire.

    • Corona goes great with cheddar. Give it a try. Nothing better than a Ritz with a Corona also. Wash it down with a lovely bowl of cornflakes and Corona. Mmm, mmm.
