I did my undergrad and MBA at Chicago. Undergrads are incredibly focused on getting the most out of the experience -- you have to be to put up with the harsh Chicago winters and isloation of Hyde Park. Most MBA's were focused, but like most MBA programs, some were only there to fill out their resumes. In general, for lack of a better characterization, Chicago education raises cynicism to an art form. Having Chicago on my resume has certainly opened a few doors. However, all else equal, I can't imagine life minus the experience.
