    Re Lawsuit Against Geico

Did anyone pick up the story on Bloomberg that
Geico, along with Allstate , is being sued by Arizona
lawfirm for defrauding customers by stating in their
policies that repairs will be made using parts that
restore vehicles to pre-crash physical condition , while
at the same time compelling auto repair shops to use
imitation parts made by third party manufacturers. The
suits seek class action status and are handled by the
state of Arizona's outside counsel in the recent
    tobacco litigation.

    • "My "buy" report was dated 1/27/99!

      It's
an internet company that makes near didly after its'
managment suck it dry with options granting. There will be
plenty of IB potential if they want to stay open."

REPEAT: We have MAINTAINED a BUY rating on SCUR since
initiating coverage Jan. of 1998 at $9 3/4. Your report of
1/27/99 was an UPDATE after earnings release. We
maintained our BUY rating. You called it a "loser" but it's
MORE than doubled in the year.

      Management's
greedy? Guess so. Are Internet stocks suspect? Probably.
But, did our clients profit? You betcha! 'Nuff
      said.

zipped) email of the above report? Thanks"

      I'm not
into scanning and E-mailing, sorry. I've got some hard
copies I'll mail while supplies last though.

      Send
me a private E-Mail with your MAILING address for a
      copy:

    • A bit intense. Nothing like a petty personal attack to show someone's state of mind.

    • You pompous fop, please just lurk, don't talk - you can't talk without demeaning the good people on this board.

    • Spreads:

Thank you for the timely reply. Did you get the report? How do you suggest I go about getting it? A visit to a Paine Webber office, perhaps?
      Thanks again,

I point this out because you labeled SCUR "a
loser". A double in a year. Maybe it wasn't IB
      potential."

    • Maybe we could try Alice at 212-731-4977 or Greg
at 212-4980, the numbers listed in the
      report?

As for telling CD (never called BRK) I am a
stockholder, I always seem to get disconnected. I don't even
tell them how many shares I have. Doesn't matter to
      them, they always have more.

      Hope things
      do better today

    • Actually Warren can count! Really! You should be
      ashamed.
by: Charlestonmystery 10366of10366Like a good CEO
he knows the names of most of his shareholders.

We are all partners, you know.
      And 98 percent (by
value) of the shareholders don't change from year to
      year.
Warren even tracks who is buying and selling, he gets
all the transactions, and most stock is not in street
      name.
So you got six letters? Give the extra copies to
      friends.
That is if you have any friends. ooooooo

      I'm really sorry "Charlestonmystery" I didn't know
that Schawb and Etrade gave my name to Mr. Buffett. I
did know that he was good with numbers but I just
thought if he doesn't know about people being counted
more than once. He must be great with names too, so
many thousands to learn and remember. He always says
hello to me but I can't remember him ever calling me by
my name. I am also sorry and hurt about your saying,
"Give the extra copies to friends. That is if you have
any friends." I wish you would have not said that to
me. Right now I have to get ready to take a friend to
the hospital. I will say no more on this subject
except I wish I also had you for a friend. I'm sure
you're a real gentleman and a kind person. So
"Charlestonmystery" I am ashamed of what I said, please forgive me,
      your friend I hope! carava89

    • So many timid people on the internet!

      Just
call Alice Shroeder at Paine Webber in New
      York,
and she will galdly mail you the 60 page
      report.

      That is what I did.

Got my 60 page report in
the mail last week, she even invited me up to New
      York for lunch.

I guess that is why so many
      people are using e-mail.

      Telephone aversion! A 30
      cent phone call==please.

      So now everyone will
want we to e-mail them the phone number!

      You
get the phone number by calling information in New
      York.
A 95 cent charge. And all tax deductible, if you
      are still
      paying any taxes.

      The people on
this site are still taking baby steps.

      I
know, I know, it is because my net worth is over $5
      million.
      Right?

By the way, when I communicate with Yahoo! I always
      tell them
      I am a shareholder. I am. Right?
