......for the Times link..........historic parallels with 1929 are always of interest......my Mother and Father were born in 1908 and 1906 respectively, so I was raised on stories of the Depression and it had a profound impact on my attitudes towards money....it's my opinion that many BRK investors were similarly influenced by parents and grandparents who experianced the 1930's first hand........the beat goes on.........Bobo
I'm not impressed with Mr Hoover. After all, I've had almost 100% of my money in B.Hathaway since 1979 with 0 turnover-I don't count additions as turnover. I always thought this was a no-brainer approach that a smart person could greatly improve upon. Actually, I was happy to read the P. Lynch story..Thanks for posting it.
