The unexplained resignation of a firms CFO always raises the obvious questions. It appears that he was recruited to the CFO role in late January. The uncertainty caused an initial drop in the stock on Friday of nearly 2% on heavy confirming volume. Absent near term positive catalysts, the stock could correct to it's February low of $.42
The resignation of a very short tenure CFO " for personal reasons " is a boiler plate press release, that does almost nothing to explain the real reason for his departure. At best it's neutral for the company and the stock, in many cases it portends pending difficulties for the company.
