Get a Life -- BYD Board Statistics

Been a few weeks since I've posted. As an unabashed long, who has recently sold some, kept some, and bought some December calls, let's clear the air on a few things:

Last quarter was disappointing for all owners. We feel like we got slapped in the face, and in the wallet. Ouch. However, not much has really changed. Borgata is great. The Stardust land is still there. Nice profits in the Las Vegas market. Good things from Blue Chip and Delta Downs. The hope (dream?) of a takeover by a major player...

But today I decided to post in order to talk about our friend and fellow poster tommy3823. Tommy3823 is the primary reason I don't bother to read this board anymore. What was a nice conversation among longs and shorts (very smart shorts with well formulated arguments) and those looking to do DD has degenerated into a crapfest. Tommy3823, you can be as bearish as you wish, but why, why did you feel the need to singlehandedly ruin a perfectly good message board?

    Let's consider some statistics:
    * Since July 5, tommy3823 has posted 297 messages on this board. Tommy3823 has therefore accounted for a full 19.52% of the message board traffic on this board.
    * Put another way, over the past 47 days, tommy3823 has posted an average of 6.32 messages PER DAY -- INCLUDING WEEKENDS.
    * Tommy3823 has acknowledged that he has posted under othjer names. We know about "Frenchman." What other names might there be? So, the actual number of postings here might be MUCH HIGHER!

Tommy, pal, I think I speak for all the serious investors on this board when I say -- please, man -- for your sake and for ours -- GET A LIFE! FIND A HOBBY! GO OUTSIDE! DO SOME VOLUNTEER WORK! JUST GET YOURSELF AWAY FROM THE MESSAGE BOARDS FOR A FEW MINUTES!

Finally -- in message # 12799 you refer to the $50 that you are owed at the "end of the month." Dude, please get it right. If you refer back to message # 11785, you will read where you laid out the terms of our wager very clearly. BYD needs to crack 20 by December 15 for me to win (or lose) the wager.

Those are your words (and you write an awful lot of them). I'm just repeating them.

Hope all has been well with everyone.

i AM SO SORRY THAT MY POSTS IRITATE YOU. I will try to post less, just for you.
It appear to me that you are becoming obsessed with me. You even have how many posts I have made, now you my friend, i would say, need to get a life.
Now back to our bet. I believe the date this stock was going to pop 20 was August 24th. You say December 15. Can you please show me where that was said by me. I agreed to your terms, and if you look at your post, the one I replied to from message 12799, that should be clear. But if you can show me where I posted or you for that matter, December 20, I will live by it.

    • Blue: Thanks for the post Great of you to post it. I remember when you first started posting here. All your posts were informative. I guess those were the good ole days.

I hate to see the demise of this wonderful board.

Tommy and his ilk have caused this and I think it is tragic.

I have had Tommy blocked for three weeks now and it is much easier to read the board now. I hate to block posters because I think everyone has a right to post what they think. However, if everything is negative and mostly untrue, there is no choice, is there?

      Thanks again.

    • sagacious post as always blue...especially liked this excerpt:

"Last quarter was disappointing for all owners. We feel like we got slapped in the face, and in the wallet. Ouch. However, not much has really changed. Borgata is great. • Well Said !!!!

    • Well said. Thanks for the post. I expect before the day is over to be long this stock again. I, like a lot of others, panicked after the last CC. Guess I'm not as good a poker player as I thought.

      • Hey COWBOY, post under your own name will you? We al know davnhouston/seconcowboy are one and the same. You both have the same messages, cornholer. And dave, don't threaten me, I can whup anybody that squats to take a leak. Pretty soon, we will see the same old fist pumpin, rah rah rah from cowboy, "I called the bottom again" and the other loooooooosers on this board. You guys need to get a life. This crap was IPO'd at around $17, same week was $26 and that was 10 years ago. This turd goes up 50cents and all the pumpers and wackos are out of their rocks. That was awful heavy SELLING at the close. I know the, one wacko is going to say "well someone was buying" It wasn't you pumpers because you dirtbags only buy in odd lots. And davy baby read your posts about you selling. To refresh your memory #12381 and #12512. Theres only about 1400 shareholders with small positions, maybe 20 of them are dumb enough to post on this board, and out of that 20 cowboy and davnhouston sell at exactly the same time, and post the same message. Hey cowboy, stick to diddling choirboys, you aint making it as a prognosticator. Hey tommy, evenmoney davnhuston/cowboy now starts telling us what a whiz he is to be buying back in to boyd. He'll be up at 2/3am pounding on the keys. This crap is going doooooooooown over the long run. The insiders sold because they know what you guys should know.
