    • Investors know that LQMT has been working on military applications for a long time, many many years. This is the most detailed information on a military application to date, and is a potentially lucrative production application. My concerns are 1. how long will the testing/validation process take (I suspect at least a couple years), 2. assuming a positive outcome of testing/validation (no easy task when the govt is involved) what type of revenue generation split will accrue (between Visser/Materion/Engel and LQMT)- in fact will the govt require a new vendor for production?

Net net, a step in the right direction- but years away from revenue. The company will be out of capital I believe by the end of 2013, which is 2.5 months away. That is a real, immediate concern that this PR does not address.

      • Darth Vader, "The company will be out of capital". Great point, and while some people believe this development will add value and bring in the needed funds, the truth is partners and potential customers are all too happy to let the company pay for the development. On the other hand, this is the government, military to boot, and there are all kinds of grants and other funding available. Let's see how interested they really are
maybe LM just buys the company.....this offset by the government pulling back on defense, but if using LQMT saves big money.........? In any event , this is positive news, and chance for real time validation of the
technology, if, as you say, capital is available.
