no you havent. It may be down but you havent lost it until you sell it. Keep this in mind "InterMune Inc. (ITMN)"It fell from high 30 to $9 after news came out for one of their drugs. Well guess what, it rebounded back in a few months and not only did it get back to the $30 range it went all the way to the low $50's. So hold on tight and you'll see a spike up in a few months.
FYI: i dont have any shares anymore, sold at $39 a few months back.
I would strongly recommend that you not sell now. I don't hold DNDN right now but have followed the compnay for 2 years now. It is a good company with a novel product. I read in detail the call transcript from today and feel confident that the company will start turning things around in 3-6 months. In the past, I have paniced and sold on large drops in other stocks (of late GOOG) only to see the stock bounce back manifold over the next 2-3 months. Tm and over the next 1-2 weeks, the price MAY go down below where is it now but it will definitely recover from there. There is nothing wrong with the product (which would be a major concern), it's just that the adoption is slow, which is understandable for such a high-priced 'drug'. Just go back and sleep well -- no need to get up early in the mornings anymore. Come back in 3 months and let us know how you are doing. For my part, I am definitely going to open a position in this stock tm.
You haven't. Its down 60%. Sell at the open first before you decide what to do with the money. The opening price will define the gap which will not be filled for a while. this is dead money unfortunately. JMO.
