Real possibility.. I've seen it and been part of it in two stocks. people always talk about getting 6-10 cents on each dollar lost, yet they never talk about the actual settlement and what else might occur as the result of it.
I find it funny that people who are in the market to make money thumb their noses at an opportunity to make back 6-10% of their losses.
It has never made any sense to me to see the same people HYPING a company unwilling to partake in making back some of their losses. I figure since they don't care about MONEY then their real opinions about the stock should never be taken seriously.
