Good post, why BP needs Provenge

Rgis was posted by DW as a response as to why BP needs DNDN and Provenge.

"sounds like the logic of 100 years ago. "We are a natural gas lantern lighting company and we light up the city each night. Why would we ever want to invest in electricity? Its' just a passing trend and will never have any real place in the future of lighting a large city." I view chemo as a gas lamp, and Provenge as the electric light, which has a better future?
Management may have screwed up the launch, but it is my opinion that Provenge is still the future like the electric light verses the gas lantern."

    • Exactly :)
DNDN must TO THE FUTURE reduce the cost :)
      What's so incomprehensible?

    • In addition to having a massive potential market, its production of NeuVax is quite low. NeuVax is produced for less than $1,000 per dose, which reflects the potential for very large margins considering Dendreon's (DNDN) Provenge which has an off-the-shelf product being produced for roughly $20,000. Therefore, with a solid product, a large market, and a low production cost I think it is obvious why I deemed the stock as the best value based on valuation and potential (NeuVax in SPA phase III fast track, Galena Biopharma (GALE).

Provenge simply must reduce costs to the future.
