In April? May and June will be even bigger and DNDN will finally turn a profit for the next quarterly results!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I thought you are stupid, but turns out that you are more than that: mor0nic returd, Rob !
How many rooms you have in your trailer ? Let's say 2 rooms. In each room, your mom gave you 1 set of TV. A couple months ago, thanks to DNDN, you had some money and bought 1 set of LCD TV to install in your bathroom and another set to install next to the front door (so that your neighbors could watch it without bothering you).
Now, Best Buy is advertising a 50" LED TV for $400. Are you gonna buy 2 more sets of TV to install on your roof, so that birds could fly by and watch it ?
MOR0N, JJ owns enough of DNDN shares/options he doesn't want to buy on the open market !!!! Got it ?
actually, they announced revenue guidance for mid $70s, which probably means $60M+ in quarterly losses. also, since management can see the current and forward bookings, their guidance won't be too far off the mark and if June weather is hot that could (as it has in the past) affect patient decisions to wait. another factor hurting the business right now is the sequestration cuts to medicare reimbursement. many doctors are waiting to see whether legislation is passed to restore the subsidy, some have actually stopped accepting medicare patients as of now.
"April was the strongest month of the year" is meaningless when you consider the extremely poor Jan-March sales numbers. management always tries to spin a positive message after announcing dismal earnings. but the bottom line is: a $60M+ quarterly loss is still a loss and revenues under $100M won't save them from growing competitive pressures.
Lets hope the trend continues and sales tick up. Also would be great if we get EU approval earlier - then maybe we start seeing some excitement in the share price. Been busy last few weeks monitoring ACAD, INSM, CLVS - biotech breaking out this year...Think more acquisitions are also coming in big pharma. Big play is INSM the next 2 months - think $25 soon...=)
