This co has lost north of a billion dollars. And that's got nothing to do with stock prices. The business model is flawed. We're not saying the drug doesn't work, or that patients don't benefit. The problem is that they lost and continue to lose millions of dollars a year. See Yahoo Finance and look at their financial statements for the last 3 years. 2013 will not be different. They had their chance to show profits and this is the result.
Now re: the patents, they might be worth something but those who buy patents tend not to pay top dollar for them. Vultures. But smart vultures - they'll wait for the business to drive itself into the ground and then pick up any valuable IP for pennies.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
No-no, the US courts have been allowing companies (and cities) to hang on the their good valuable stuff and wiping out their debts. Funny how folks seem to only care when it directly effects them.
And I didn't sell old GM shares cause brands like Chevy are worth billions, yet the US BK courts allowed GM to get rid of their debts but hang on to their good stuff. Why can't Dendreon play the same game ? Keep the rights to Provenge and screw the investors over.
