Congrat's to David! Winning his age group in the Seattle half marathon is an impressive accomplishment. I suspect most of the 4,000+ participants were delighted to simply cross the finish line.

It has been a little too toasty to run much on this side of the state other than an occassional sprint to the refrigerator for another glass of iced tea.

      • Going4,

Manatron, one of my top three stocks for many years, received and accepted an acquisition offer at $12 per share. The transaction closed two or three months ago. While I had hoped for an acquisition in the mid-teens the $12 per share price represented a healthy gain for long term investors.

My surviving two favorites are Data I/O and Click Software. Like Manatron, a clear leadership position in their respective niches creates a solid upside and the intrinsic acquisition value should limit their long term downside risk.

In the short term (and especially in this market) anything can happen.
