Clinical Trial updates in April. One is complete and "Has Results"
A Study of Vismodegib (GDC-0449, Hedgehog Pathway Inhibitor) As Maintenance Therapy in Patients With Ovarian Cancer in a Second or Third Complete Remission
When will we hear of the results?
Best wishes longs! Shorts not-so-much
Seems NEW to me... and announcement adds VALUE to CRIS as Ovarian Cancer is a 'deeper issue' than skin cancer in which alternative therapies are available. The Promise for CRIS is the alternative applications of their Patents, e.g. the Pancreatic Cancer already announced and in the Pipeline <3 Any confirmation of any of the alternatives makes the $7-$8 area within easy reach.. as it provides proof CRIS is not a 1 trick horse Patience appears to be a virtue, yet I see rewards for the faithful worth it
For us long long timers....we remember the colon and ovarian results very well. I remember the stock dropping 50% in 1 day back then. Took a deep breath and bought some more. The recent agony over day to day fluctuations is some what misplaced. If you have done due diligence stick with it, if you are just a momentum player or know not what you do, I guess worry yourself sick.
Very old news - -we've known, (1) did not work on prostate and ovarian, and (2) Hh was not even expected to work on these 2 cancers, the test was a looong shot. CRIS and others were willing to take the long shot, in case it would help, at the expense of hurting stock price, and the news being hammered over and over by people looking for negative info to post.
LOL at Earl.
Earl, just wondering. Do you know anything about what youre invested in?
If you did, you would have already known that Roche already read out the results from this and indicated its not worth pursuing because the results were underwhelming.
Sorry to ruin your evening with a reality check.
Interesting. Do you have a link to their results. There are a number of other clinical trials using Erivedge to treat pancreatic cancer and either Roche or Genentech are collaborators in a couple of cases. You have to wonder why they are wasting their time and money?
