Chinese military enterprises to recruit senior executives

The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) announced on February 26 in Beijing that 12 subsidiaries, business divisions and research academies directly under AVIC will recruit 13 deputy general managers or vice presidents internationally.
A senior executive from AVIC said this is the first time that a Chinese military industry enterprise has opened itself to international recruitment of senior executives regardless of nationality or race.
Gao Jianshe, Executive Vice President of AVIC, who is in charge of this recruitment said, to integrate itself into the industry chain of the world economy, blend into the economic circle of regional development, realize international development, and fulfill its goal of 1 trillion yuan in revenue, AVIC needs a large number of professional managers who are familiar with the market and international practices and who have the expertise to meet the requirements of converging multiple industries.
He said they will hire a number of senior managers with internationally advanced operational philosophies, outstanding comprehensive qualifications and capabilities, and who meet the requirements of the respective job descriptions.
Recruitment will focus on candidates with middle-level management experience in multinational corporations, large-scale state-owned enterprises or headquarters of other large-scale enterprises, and senior management in renowned foreign and domestic research institutions.
It is reported that the positions related to senior operation and management at AVIC, which are open to applicants worldwide, cover multiple fields including operations management, production management, marketing management, technology research and development, and capital operation.
According to reports the recruitment campaign will last half a year. The deadline for applications is March 31.
