    In the discount Internet world, commissions (at least mine) are $5.00 for a market order of any number of shares.
    For a limit order its 10 bucks for any number of shares.

    If you are flush enough to buy 100 shares, then commission os only 5 or 10 pennies per share.

    As for the limit order (has very highly recommended by Jim Cramer), its easy to skim those pennies off the price of the shares. Many many stocks meander a dollar or more in the course of a day. Just pick your price, place your order and see what happens.

    Anyone who worries about a commission charge in todays world is truely a Piss Ant.
