Seems to be fairly fully valued here - Still a good income/dividend play but how much upside is there in the share price - any perspectives?
They're too busy spending money on ad spots on TV trying to explain away the highest rates in the nation.
Last time HE split it was 2:1 at about $50.00/share
This has been a good stock for DRIP. Don't really know my actual rate of interest on original investment. But after 20 years of reinvesting dividends, it is substantial.Best, N
I own HE for the dividend yield (almost 5% at current prices) which sure beats a savings account. I'm a long term invester/holder of HE, so not too concerned about share price appreciation or fall.
I,m with you, retired and collecting diveys to help pay my taxes, and still reinvest about 40% of my stock.
Slow and steady growth - probably ~32 in 12 mos and collect the 4-5% dividend.JMHO
