HELCO "Allegedly" Extorting Money From Big Island Ratepayers Trying To Sign Up For Solar

HELCO is "allegedly" extorting money out of people who are trying to sign up for solar power on the Big Island, charging ratepayers for upgrades that should be coming out of HELCO's capital expenses.

There is no set fee schedule and HELCO's charges are NOT based on Hawaii Electric's "saturation zones." It's random and arbitrary.

Just another example of how crooked and corrupt this company is and how it fleeces and financially rapes our residents because of it insatiable lust for and its idolatry of money AND power.

Specifics about this issue have been given to the attorney for our lawsuit.

Every ratepayers pays a monthly surcharge to cover maintenance and upgrades, but that money was squandered by incompetent management the past 50 years on excessive executive salaries and excessive dividends instead of on maintenance and upgrades. Power failures are a way of life in Hawaii as a result of negligence on the part of utility management.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
