Anyone actually follow this company?
I am interested in Independence Holdings and thus, have arrived here since IHC has no message board and IHC and AMIC are tied at the hip.
Anyone care to comment on the operations. From the savvy moves that IHC management made by turning the Softnet shell company into a Reinsurance biz was genius. They get to have their cake and eat it too!!! I have followed the insurance industry off and on, but don't really know too much about medical stop loss. From the abundance of info that IHC puts on its site, they seem very upfront and open and shareholder oriented. Dividend has been increased...
With insurance, you are never going to get smooth earnings, but IHC and AMIC seem to be pretty stabile...
