    Kellogg to offer $200M of notes due 2005

    (NewsTraders) -- Kellogg Co. (K) has filed to
    offer $200 million of notes due 2005, according to an
    original S-3 filing at the SEC Tuesday morning.

    The
    notes will be represented by one or more securities and
    are being underwritten by Goldman Sachs and Lehman
    Brothers.

    Kellogg will use the proceeds from the securities to fund
    outstanding debt that bears interest at a rate per annum of
    6.25% and matures on Oct. 12, 1998.
