    My Concern

My wife is on Orencia for her RA and because it is infused, Medicare pays 100% and her part D RX coverage is not involved. And while an oral med such as Baricitinib would be more convenient I am wondering if Medicare would cover the whole cost or if her part D coverage would come into play in which case she would have to pay a substantial part of the cost. That would certainly influence whether she would use it or stay with the infused med.

    • A real and important concern. There aren't all that many instances of very expensive oral drugs for relatively widespread chronic conditions. Since this is the Incyte board, my response is that it will be good to have this one worked out over somebody else's product.
