ALCO Stores, Inc. Message Board

    No longer funny

What's the matter, boy wonder? Didn't want to live where your customers live? How about the cost of the move? You should be putting every penny into fixing up those dumps you call stores. Or do you just figure that your low-income customers don't deserve decent stores. Your incompetence is staggering- only surpassed by the BOD that won't fire you.

    • Didn't answer the question. Did Wilson or the BOD fire you? You sound like a petulant child, consistent with what is currently wrong in this country; no accountability or responsibility for your own actions or inactions. You take no responsibility for your own loss of money. It is the CEO's or BOD's fault. They clearly "forced" you to purchase Alco stock and hold it after they hired a CEO whose decison you clearly disagreed with. Should have sold when you had the chance.

Your comments are absurd. You assume I have an obligation to answer your questions. I don't but I will tell you I never was fired by Wilson, the BOD or anyone else. As an investor (I.e., owner) of the company, it is not petulance to demand results from my employees- including Wilson.

I do blame myself for not selling earlier but what is wrong with the country is people who blindly follow authority without expecting accountability. The logical conclusion to your absurdities is that if a shareholder loses money, blame the shareholder.

    • Why are you so bitter? Did Wilson or the BOD fire you? How many shares do you own "Bob"? What dog do you have in this fight? Guarantee the cost of the move is signifcantly less than the cost of continuing doing business the same way as the last 100 years.
