Anyone know anything about LRAD chances of getting some piece of the border security spending currently being discussed in Congress???? or is that technology a no go that Boeing tried, not sure if the LRAD 2000 would be a new consideration or not.
if you google border security and boening, you'll find that they lost the opportunity back in 2011 because of the expense and limited number of miles they actually got done. their system or whatever was a complete waste of money. LRAD's might be used on ground and air vehicles but it seems unlikely they'll be permanently mounted on the ground. Of course, I hope I'm wrong. :-)
Thanks, just wondering peoples thoughts on it and whether the 2000's that were ordered for border project (location not disclosed) might be relevant. Would be cool to have LRAD's located on Drones flying around.
