Merck paid $120M upfront and will pay up to $880 million in milestone payments. Merck's commitments grow much larger when you realize they also are paying for additional trials in other indications. That's for one drug.
Incredibly sloppy seller is offering a great price for latecomers, remember $125M enterprise value at current price.
The smart money is selling as I knew they would because that idiot will be re-elected and no one wants to be held hostage to Obamas terror he will unleash on Wall Street with his high taxes. You have to remember Obama believes if you have money to put in the stock market you have money to send to Washington, and when he is re-elected you will see the real Obama rear his ugly head and money in stocks will vacate faster than it ever came in.
OT. My opinion is that even if that kenyan imbecile is re-elected, the Congress and hopefully Senate now will keep him and his minions in check and not allow him to do anything. But I pray that not that many Americans are as stupid and shallow as to vote for this cretin again. Fool me (not me personally, but others) once, shame on me, fool me twice...
As for the value of individual companies, the market has gone up with this #$%$ in office. It may become more a market of stocks and individual companies may still perform well considering that the valuation and fundamentals are supportive.
