    • these "law firms" are nothing but parasites looking for easy money and helping hedgefunds to hold down the pps.

    • The law offices crave to be in the news, and happily take significant fees from investors no matter if the case is strong or not. In this case, ECYT did not make any false statements, it did not cover-up any facts, and it did report the information it had at the time. Below is Endocyte's view of the class lawsuits, see its website under Investor FAQs:
On June 24, 2014, and then on July 13, 2014 complaints in securities class action lawsuits were filed against us and one of our officers and directors in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. The complaints are similar and allege, among other things, that the defendants made false and misleading statements about the efficacy of vintafolide, and violated certain provisions of the federal securities laws, resulting in plaintiff and the other members of the class purchasing our securities at artificially inflated prices. The putative class period in this action is from March 21, 2014 through May 2, 2014. The plaintiffs seek the designation of this action as a class action, an award of unspecified damages, interest, costs, expert fees and attorneys’ fees, and such equitable/injunctive or other relief as the court may deem just and proper. We expect these lawsuits will be consolidated into a single class action lawsuit. We believe that these lawsuits are without merit and we intend to defend ourselves vigorously against the allegations made in the complaints....
