iLevel by Weyerhaeuser Marks Five-Year Anniversary

Congrats on 5 years since launching eye-level, which should have been named after a much lower part of the anatomy - given the success of it.

    • Except I'm not a former employee. And I'm not a short seller, either. I'm just trying to convince these day trader Warrem Buffet wannabees that with the corrupt and incompetent management that is in place at WY, that they will not make much, if any, money on this stock. Too many future deals and opportunities wlll be squandered away by these phony clowns.

As an example, here's how WY lumber sales works. They go weeks without making outgoing sales calls and allow a half million feet of an item to build up adn start turning moldy. Then when the market is $290, they bend over, drop their pants and give away the whole pile at $220 and lose $35,000 in income in just one transaction. Every wonder why Wood Products loses money every quarter? That's what happens when you fire all your good salesmen and yet keep one manager (none of which do anything to make money) for each salesman.

Like I said, go to the casino and play the penny slots--or cut lawns for a living. You'll make more money than you will on WY stock.

    • As a competitor of Weyerhaeuser, we love what they have done the last five years. They used to be a very big factor in the market but now they are a minor player. They are the joke of the industry.

      • &%#@-Level has been a big help to competitors. That is where everybody else's new customer have coming from. &%#@-Level loves to give up customers.

      • The joke of the lumber industry is true. It's because of their sales management. They have one manager for each salesman. How's that for a structure? And the managers don't do any selling and most can't even read the inventory. Who knows what they actually do except take a lot of time off and try to look pretty. Their focus is on WHO they give it away to rather than who will pay WY the top money for the lumber. They fired the 4 top sales performers and gutted the sales team that used to be the tops in the industry just because they were older males. WY needs to first get rid of about 5 of those phony managers and get someone in charge who actually knows something about milling and selling lumber and making some money. For share holders, rest assured that money will not be made and will only be squandered--even with a complete recovery in U.S. housing-- until this management roster is culled out.

    • I-Level 5 years later, the correct name should be ILL-Level. Flawed strategy from the start, with people running it who never managed a P& L and no clue what customer service means
