    MS says they can't make alone!!!

    They all (investment banks) faked size and strength in their commercials to hide the fact that they were really 30 to 50 times smaller than they were. The whole banking industry and so some extent, all of US, including the consumer is a house of cards. Take away credit and people cannot afford half of what they do.

      EXACTLY! Driving cars on credit, paying for vacations on credit, homes on credit (and using it as an atm), college, vacations, xmas gifts, etc.
      Stupid people all trying to impress the neighbor while in debt up to their asses. I'm totally out of stocks and will ride this out.
      Its nice to have my home paid for and no debt!
      The Government needs to let these borkerage house's fail and let the chips fall where they may. I should just short the market but I honestly don't trust anyone.
