the citibank analyst should be worried about his company's viability than etfc. The nerve of this guy. This government tarp program is unfair and smacks of discrimination. So the govt is worried about the perception of bailing out citadel, well what about giving money to c, bac, and wfc? Aren't you bailing out the saudi prince, corrupt and greedy CEOs like lewis and Stumpf?
If etrade ever goes bankrupt, expect all etfc shareholders to file a lawsuit against the government and win. Like I said, you're willing to give $45billion to C, a company that haven't even attempted to get rid of their bad loans to fix their problem. Actually none of these big banks have made the tough decision to sell their loans at 27 cents to the dollar. This tarp program just smack of pure corruption.
That would be highly manipulative and illegal. I don't think that these analysts would participate in that. Especially in this environment. They must have been privy to the internals to make this call, no?
They started by tearing it down in the PM . . .
Kritter, for that much attention, somebody is starting to play some serious games with E* - and it isn't the kind of games played before a company is going under . . .
I like my chances even more . . .
