I think the correction is in anticipation for the interest rates which are supposed to slow down the housing recovery. Wasn't it just a few years back the 5% interests were "unheard of"? Unfortunately everything seems to be proportional: SPF was priced for 2.5% interest rates - just a few months ago the stock was close to $10/share (may 14th - $9.81)- That is close to a 20% correction in a short 7 weeks!!! I wonder where the stock be when the interest rates really go back to 4-4.5% range?
To make a long story short this is another prime example of market manipulation where the fundamentals do not necessarily make the stock price -but the market makers do....Who is right and who is wrong? Whomever makes the numbers that pop up on your computer screens!! You cant dispute or fight the prices that shows up on the screen - can you?!
Rest of us who believe in the "un-manipulated market" generally end up holding the bag at the end of the day!I am long this stock but am really considering going back to day/swing trading instead of investing....it seems dumb to be loyal to a system that does not reciprocate and rewards the quick traders rather than the slow and steady who do it for the long term

just these facts alone should have the stock price higher but its not . stocks run on future earnings . I find it odd that spf is trading down near 8 month lows .
