Terry Jones did not sell any shares. Terry Jones is a partner/managing director for SynCom, a private equity firm that participated in the buyout of Iridium out of bankruptcy 10 years ago. Mr. Jones has been (and continues to be) on the Board of Directors of Iridium. SynCom elected to sell their shares of Iridium after 10 years (they made about 20 times their original investment) because they are an early stage investor and Iridium no longer fits into this category.
