What qualifies you to make such a statement? The stock is finally back up to its pre-9/11 price, which also happens to be its post-split price. This is where this stock should be trading, if not higher.
You're right, hawk; due diligence as usual. But I have noticed a few things to give me hope we can still go further in this Goodrich rally; Larsen has said there will be a share repurchase program and may increase the dividend as well. Boeing's earnings may peak in 2009 or 2010, as well as GR's. If you take the forward-looking PE for GR, it's about 18-18.5, and Merrill Lynch based its Spring upgrade of GR on 2006 EPS of $2.15, and now the average estimate is $2.38 in '06. Will the spare parts/after market service peak in 3 to 5 years? The split you mention occurred because of constantly rising earnings. It could happen again; just too soon to tell.
