I have been reading this board for awhile, unfortunatly most of the time, and it would be useful to get some genuine discussions going about the company. I can understand why some feel burnt by it's non success in share value, but I have read alot of ridiculous irrelevant posts on this company so far. Perhaps I will lose my investment, but that's all part of risk taking. Reading about KK's brother being drunk in the parking lot, wether true or not, has nothing to do if they are adding new COES or not. There is a blog called http://greenshift-gers.blogspot.com/2008/08/skunk-stinkin-news-flash.html
That often has alot of updates on the company and Ehtanol itself. I am considering increasing my position, and instead of hearing dirt, I'd rather hear pro's and cons of the business. Any genuine interest in having a thought out conversation about the company is very welcome.
This is not a bash. Just a true story.
Due to reverse splits etc. This GERS would have to go to $60.00 per share for me to break even. When I bought my shares it was 0.29 cents a share and I held thinking "maybe just maybe it would go up a little." What is the chance of it going up to $60?
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhhhh. (not funny)
Greenshift (formerly Veridium) is a brilliant scam and that is all there is to it. I blame only myself for being fooled.
Good Luck PLANET!
I didn't buy in anything near to .29 cents, but, I am going to continue to hold onto this stock. I saw that it was down again today, but, near term, this isn't a bad thing. What matters the most is if this company will survive. I think for the price, and I am definitly going to add more, at this price, it's not such a risk. I mean losing money isn't why I invest. But they are cost cutting, they are paying down debt, they are focusing more on the coes, then just anything corn related. But no, I don't this is a scam. I think people want some one to blame when they take a risk and it doesn't work out for them. In which case, I hope for them, they aren't spending alot of their money investing in the stock market. I only blame myself, and so I do alot of research and watching before I put my marker down. And because of that I try to take the best descisions as possible. It doesn't always work out, but I have doubled all my savings this year, well in the last 3 months to be exact. That takes in consideration losses on GERS and another stock.
Maybe GERS won't pan out. But I think they are hard working people, trying to survive in this economy; like everyone else. And I am hoping they will do so.
I had a friend once tell me that he was getting rich. He said, get a five of my friends to pay in, and get each one of them to pay in, and we will all get rich. This was a scam. And this guy, still today, is always moving from one scam like this to the next. He inherited 63,000 dollars 9 months ago, and you might think, that this would be just the thing to help one's finances. Wether he is on the scam or getting free money, he is always in the end, in the hole. It took him just 4 months to lose it all, with out buying himself one thing with it.
I agree with you Mr.Todu.
I have seen how others have played this game. They sure do not like it when I play by THEIR rules.
I have been called a crook and a liar because I think this stock has a chance. Call me wrong. I may be. But that does not make me a crook or a liar.
I am willing to call a truce. But the first ying yang that makes a habit of getting personnal with me because they do not like my opinion is gonna get it back - times a hundred.
Since this type of crap is uncalled for on a message board i think this is a well deserved push of the ignore button. It is one thing to be agrevated with the company but personal insults are not called for no matter what side one is on.
Where is the Alt-wipe? I see he is the large guy in this new product commercial. "Being a large man has its advantages, but I have to wipe myself with a rag on a stick. Thants why they call me A$$-Wipe!"
Alt-Wipe. Number 2 of the OTLs!!
I dont believe it is a matter of technology and if it were in the right hands there is no telling where this could go. Just an opinon here but Im not conviced that management is really into this for the technology but has found a shell game to make his money. JMO but if he were to put as much effort into the technology and marketing end this could be quite a winner. As far as control of the company as I understand it the CEO declares what his shares are worth and will always declare his to be enough to make him king.
Considering their situation, would it be out of the question to buy some of their debt from Yagi, perhaps at a discount even? I don't know what the underlying value of a company with such little cash on hand, and a debt I haven't totalled yet until the qaurterly that has to come out soon. But this is patented technology. Ethanol plays a larger part worldwide then it does in the states, and corn oil converted to plastics. I am not a manager of this sort. But, if there was a more rapid adding of COES in the US, and bringing this abroad to say places like Brazil, China, and Germany, I see a lock, even if it is a niche lock, on this market.
And that Algae tech is almost limitless. So?
This is how Yagi holds their collateral through the CEO
Series D Shares originally issued convert into Company common
shares representing 80% of the fully diluted outstanding common shares outstanding after the conversion
These are all Delaware cos so few minority rights.
Until they pay off yagi and restructure this you cannot buy a place at the table.
something soon ?
Something to ask as well...
I saw from the 2nd t last cmpany statement, that they asked for sharholders not to proxy against their financing decisions. What amount of leverage would we need to be able to have a say in the decisions of this company? How would this be possible to organize? I too believe in the technology, and maybe, as you say, with better managment there could be a better company out of this.. OR atleast managment taking the shareholders more seriously. I have money to invest. What amount of shares would we need to leverage some decision making? Curious at this point....
"YOU KNOW TO MUCH OF INSIDE THE SCAM THAT'S AGAIST THE LAW"
Since your my buddy pura let me tell you my secret: NOBODY EXCEPT PURA CAN READ BELOW!!!
(These businesses file reports with the SEC and you can go to their site and read them. Thats how I get all my inside information!!!)
Pura, arguing with you is like winning a chess tournement in the Dementia ward of the hospital. It might do you, (the patient), some good to play, but when I win the trophy (argument)its really nothing to brag about. In fact its kind of embarrassing. Its like I am taking advantage of you.
