I had been looking for property in Sanilac, Tuscola, and Lapeer county for farming, well thru a friend who already has land (ethanol-jk-although the thought is a curious one), but I am not sure those people are aware there is/was a recession. Land is too much still. I mean prime land I have found out in Nebraska is going for much less, but, no one to look after it for me I could trust. I have been to Chicago several times, by car, Coldwater, Colma, Climax(seriously what is with the name of that town), outside of Grand Rapids(there is this monsterous snow hill). I like out there but the deer to my hood/windshield ratio is wayyyyyyy too high any winter related months. Which is 9 out of 12 per year atleast.
A dime a dozen for housing. I would imagine you could buy quite a nice place for cheap. When my former employer bought some aircraft from Swiss Air and Air France a few years ago I almost was to spend 6 weeks in Zurich, 6 weeks in Paris, and 6 weeks in beautiful Dothan Alabama to refurbish the aircraft. Ended up they were all done in Dothan so didnt get to make that trip. Havent been to the east side of Mi but the west side is beautiful farmland.
Well I am from the whole south eastern michigan area on up to Midland for a couple years. I am actually working in Switzerland for the moment. Trying to come back next week and buy a house. I assume you have an idea what the housing market is like in the Detroit metro area...
only in pumpers minds. It as not been over a quarter since the last RS and mostly below a penny for many months and probably wont get above a penny in quite some time. Where did all these new pumpers come from?
