    "Bashers" performing a service

in my opinion, especially if they post facts that might keep someone from throwing their money away on junk like this. With penny stocks, some folks approach them like they are using play money, since it may only be a few hundred to a thousand bucks that they are investing.

Still, losing money is losing money. The facts about this company is that long-term, shareholders have almost no chance of making money. Sure, you could buy some now, and maybe it goes to .004 and you make some quick money. But there is just as good a chance that she goes belly-up, or they announce a stock split so that they can get the price up and sucker in some more folks. At which time, they start floating millions more shares, and it tanks again.

At least look at facts before you invest here. This company is in dire financial straits, and nobody in their right mind is going to lend them money. Any assets that they have on their books are grossly overvalued, given the state of the industry that they are in. Their patents are really not worth a lot, for the same reason.

Don't you guys even read up on the industry that you are invested in? Corn Ethanol is a Dinosaur, only the Corn farmers lobby is keeping it afloat. As soon as there are improvements in any competing technology, such as Hydrogen, Electric and Hybrid, Natural Gas, or especially Cellulosic, the Corn Ethanol industry will R.I.P., where it should have gone years ago. Not to mention that Oil prices are not going to significantly increase given the generally deflationary environment that we arein at this time.

Just the facts ma'am, just the facts.

    • I'm not so old and still forget some things...

    • Finally a sound of reason. I do wonder if that 10 billion authorized is so that when the times comes a RS can be done to bring it back to 500 mil or so. THat is the Kreistler way.

I agree that this is gambeling but even if it is only a thousand put here no one likes to lose. I didnt see anything in this post that I could realisticly disagee with.

      hahahhhahahhahhhhhaaaaa

Ok jolting jerk lets look at the chart. Here is the price of oil. Does this look like a move to the upside to you?

      hahahaaa
Who would believe anything YOU got to say???

    • Corn is gold. It is used for so many things not even including ethanol. I was surprised to learn how many things are made of corn products by watching the History channel. I have read that the cellulosic ethanol is much more efficient and cheaper to produce and not dependent on weather to produce a harvest. What happens if there is a bad year or 2 for corn?? Ill still depend on that black stuff in the ground. BP recently had a huge find in the gulf. THere are wells in Texas that are capped or pumping natural gas. As I was told, wells are drilled through natural gas to get to oil and when the gas was more valuable or politically they wanted to use it they just pulled up the pipe to the gas pockets and that is where they are. I dont know that for fact as I am not an oil person but that is what I have been told by several friends that have wells on their property. Any way you look at it oil is plentiful and will last many more lifetimes than we will. Shut up and drill!!!

Gold way over 1000 an ounce; the dollar being replaced by the yen and the euro as the oil currency; the Fed having to buy treasurery bills cause the Chinese are divesting. The government debt burden is expected to total 56 percent of GDP this year.

      You Expect Deflationary prices???????

The of price of oil just blew thre 80 dollars!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are not saying this garbage with a straight face. Cause everyone else is LOA off.

If you only had a clue you desperate bashers would be worth laughing at.

    • "This company is in dire financial straits, and nobody in their right mind is going to lend them money."
Why is that? They have been awarded grants to further study their algae reactors this year alone. The reason you say Ethanol is a "dinasour" is because they have yet to find a way to make it really profitable, and the GERS technology does that. The US gov't has been very keen on getting us off of a foreign energy reliance. There is a motion in the house at this time to increase the 10% to 15% blend of ethanol, because of course we use only by gone technologies, today. Ethanol is bigger in countries that invest more on it, countries like Brazil, China, and Germany, who have really made it a point to get off foteign oil.
"Any assets that they have on their books are grossly overvalued, given the state of the industry that they are in."
I don't see at all how these two vague statements connect to each other.
"Their patents are really not worth a lot, for the same reason."
Because a patent is like a tractor...

"Don't you guys even read up on the industry that you are invested in?"
Yes I do in fact. I have even visited the plants, have you?

" Corn Ethanol is a Dinosaur, only the Corn farmers lobby is keeping it afloat."
Corn farmer's lobby...giggles...I mean corn is completely useless outside of Biofuels...
"As soon as there are improvements in any competing technology, such as Hydrogen"
(Do you mean Cold Fusion? more giggles),

      "Electric"
Um there has been a HUGE advancement. Isn't it called the Volt? Doesn't it get like 150 miles to the gallon or something? There fore pushing Ethanol technology reliance even further. If we could just grow part of our very diminished need for oil, we would have far more control on our energy pricing. "and Hybrid, Natural Gas, or especially Cellulosic, the Corn Ethanol industry will R.I.P., where it should have gone years ago."
Yawn... "Not to mention that Oil prices are not going to significantly increase given the generally deflationary environment that we arein at this time."
Just would like to point out that oil hit it's 2009 high's just yesterday or something. Aren't we double the price of the lows per barrel from the bottom in the same year?

    • It takes 2 units of energy to produce one unit of biofuel energy making it not efficient. Ok so everyone fell for that "green" stuff and everyone wants to go green. Well green is a political farce and money maker for a few. Oh yes there is the save the planet movement which is a farce. This planet will be here long after we are gone. There has been climate change since there was a climate and forever will be. We have enough oil and natural gas in this country and offshore that we could tell the camel jockeys to go eat sand but it isnt politically correct and meanwhile it is breaking this great country.
