“We are encouraged to have secured this substantive purchase order from Linden,” stated Harold R. Wolcott, President of BSD Medical. “Our agreement with Linden and its commitment to make the BSD-2000 a success in Taiwan is a notable achievement. There is significant market potential for BSD's products in Asia. The progress in Taiwan validates our efforts to expand our business in Asia.”
any idea what the price for one BSD-2000 device might be? Any guess?
Terumo should at least order 10fold the amount for its distribution region of 100 countries and without waiting for any import licence, as for this countries the marketing allowance is already given by the CE mark.
"any idea what the price for one BSD-2000 device might be? Any guess?"
A BSD-2000 ranges in price from about $350,000 for the basic unit to upwards of 1 million dollars for the BSD-2000 3D MRI unit.

Correct. No licenses required, CE mark god to go, MicroThermX sales could start tomorrow.
Terumo actively sells in 100 countries in and around Europe, and had over 5 billion dollars in sales last year. That's billion with a 'B'. They could easily order 100 MicrothermX, one as a demo model for each country, and maybe 30-50 antennas for each one, so 3,000 to 5,000 antennas, in the very first order. It would not surprise me. It would explain the capital raise by BSDM in order to mass produce and fill that pipeline. They are building thme NOW as I write this, for the first delivery to Terumo, due by end of May.
We will soon know the amount. Even if it is just 20 units, it will be a huge boost to BSDM, as Terumo will be reordering on a quarterly basis. The more base units sold, the more antennas needed, for as long as the systems are in use.
Up to 3 antenna used for each procedure. They are disposable, single use, "razor-blade" busines model, if you will, and they are patented, only available from BSDM. EACH antenna retails for about $2,000. When BSDM sells one to a doctor, they make about 65-70% margin on it. The deal to Terumo is probably not as lucrative, but as the saying goes, they will make it up on volume. SCALE is what is important now, and how fast they can acheive it.
100 countries is a 1 billion dollar marketplace each year. What percentage will BSDM capture? We shall soon see.....
