In Oct.2011 GTI, acquired advanced carbon composite manufacturer "Fiber Materials Inc." That is going to be BIG. The Dreamliner uses carbon composite,, some of the newcars are using carbon composite (Mercedes). I can't believe this is rated a "sell" at $6.70.
They have owned carbon fiber composite business in the past, actually sold it to Amoco performace products years ago, not going to be higher magin business, the faster the market grows for it's use, the faster it will lose it's margin, Not a complex cutting edge techology anymore.
GTI owns close to 700 patent, and pat. pending for graphene, behind company's like Samsung, and IBM. GTI is working with Ballard Power on a fuel cell battery. Their patents are in the area of heat shielding, etc.. The intrinsic value of this company is off the charts, and should be trading much higher; if for no other reason than their graphene patents, and ability to grow the business with this technology.
